1. Overview

Welcome to Hafsie Bunu Brand (“we”, “us”, “our”). We offer coaching services and journals (the “Services”) via our website. These Terms govern your use of the Services. By using our site or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy https://hbunu.com/pages/data-sharing-opt-out. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Consumer Rights 

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable provincial or federal law, including the Consumer Protection Act and the Competition Act, or consumer rights under the Internet Sales Contract Regulation.

3. Required Pre‑Purchase Disclosures 

Before you complete a purchase, we clearly disclose:

  • Our full business name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  • A fair description of goods/services offered.

  • An itemized total price including journal cost, any coaching fees, shipping, taxes (GST/HST) and any other cost.

  • Payment method options and terms.

  • Delivery timing and method (e.g., shipping timelines).

  • Our cancellation, return, and refund policy.
    You also have the opportunity to review, correct, or cancel before submitting payment.

4. Cooling‑Off and Cancellation Rights

Under Alberta law, as a consumer entering into an online contract of more than $50:

  • You may cancel the transaction at any time before delivery or within 7 days of receiving the contract if:

    1. We failed to provide required disclosures before you clicked “purchase”, or

    2. You did not receive the goods/services within 30 days of expected delivery .

  • You must provide cancellation notice in writing (email is acceptable).

  • We will refund your payment (minus any shipping you used) within 15 days after receiving your cancellation.

5. Order Processing & Acceptance

  • An order constitutes an offer to purchase.

  • We reserve the right to accept or decline orders.

  • Your order is accepted only when we send you a confirmation email after payment is processed.

  • Title and risk of loss pass to you when goods are handed to the carrier.

6. Pricing & Billing

  • All prices are stated in whatever the selected currency is and exclude taxes and shipping unless otherwise indicated.

  • Taxes (GST/HST) and shipping are calculated at checkout.

  • You must provide accurate current payment and contact information.

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for the purchase.

7. Intellectual Property & Feedback

  • All content (text, images, trademarks, logos) is owned by us or licensors and protected by law.

  • You may use the Services for personal, non‑commercial use only.

  • “Feedback” you submit grants us a worldwide, royalty‑free, sublicensable license to use it to improve our Services (strictly internal/promotion) but does not transfer ownership of your copyright.

8. Third‑Party Tools

  • If any third‑party apps or tools are used (e.g. calendar booking, payment gateway), they are provided “as is” and we disclaim liability to the fullest extent allowed by law.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

  • Our Services and journal products are provided “as is” without warranties beyond those implied by law.

  • We limit our liability to the extent permitted by law. However, we cannot contract out of liability for fraud, gross negligence, misrepresentation, or statutory rights you hold under law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hafsie Bunu Brand, affiliates, and Shopify from third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

11. Termination

We may terminate your access at our discretion. Sections governing IP, feedback rights, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, governing law, and dispute resolution survive termination.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

We adhere to PIPEDA federally and PIPA . Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
